Ivana Ng grew up in Queens, NY which set the backdrop of inspiration for her pieces. Although the five boroughs may be seen as lacking in nature, her upbringing was filled with visits to local parks and botanical gardens. Bits of nature have been embedded in her works as in her childhood and come through in her artwork as personal reflections of past and present.
Having completed her BFA in Fine Arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Ivana continued her studies at Queens College in the MAT program for Art Education. Ivana is currently a visual arts educator and continues to create and show work in the New York City area while assisting other artists in executing creative concepts of both large scale installations and multi-pieced concept artwork.
